McLaren MP4/4 In Detail by Hiro

McLaren MP4-4 In Detail 1988
Weight 400g
The ideal accompaniment to their stunning 1:12 MP4/4 kits (HIR12391, HIR12392, HIR12393, HIR12394), this magazine format guide is a little different to the other Hiro publications. The first few pages feature period images from the cameras of Joe Honda showing the cars on track and in the paddock as well as a number of portrait shots of Prost and Senna. The bulk of the excellent close up detail photos are from Senna’s championship winning car as it is preserved in Honda’s museum at Motegi. Whether it is the Hiro kit, the Tamiya 1:20 (TAM89719) or Tameo’s high detail 1:43 (TMKWCT88) that you are building, this will be invaluable for those tiny finishing touches.

About Hiro

High detail, multi-media kits for the more experienced builder. Also a selected range of excellent accessory parts for use with resin and plastic kits. Always pushing the latest technology. In larger scales (1:12, 1:20 & 1:24) bodywork typically in extremely crisp resin with the mechanical parts usually in white metal and plenty of etch and machined metal also included. 1:43 kits made with similar level of detail and precision as the larger offerings, but here the majority of parts are white metal, although in some cases we also see 3D printed resin chassis frames! Also an excellent range of photo reference magazines for a wide range of subjects. Made in Japan.
