This was his 2nd Birdcage, having already #2458 bought as 2nd hand, he owned also the Maserati 450S #4508, all in white. The Birdcage #2463 was entered in 8 events with Jim Hall, of which 4 wins (Continental Divide, Midland, Hondo, Las Vegas). Sold to Chuck Parsons of California in mi-1961 and adorned with blue flames on the body. Entered in 4 events with Chuck Parsons, of which 2 wins (Vaca Valley, Reno). Sold to Daniel Prades (frenchman born in Nice), living in California in end of 1961 and resprayed red with a large black stripe on the back for the 1962 season. Entered in 4 events with Dan Prades. No wins and end of the racing career of #2458 at the Oakland GP in 1962 with a blown engine.
