Connaught A Type Holland 1953 McAlpine Ken McAlpine drove one of three Connaught entries at Zandvoort but unfortunately engine failure led to retirement at around three-quarter distance. The shape of the Connaught is well captured and the decals have the correct decoration including a very fine white stripe around the nose. The wheel castings are particularly neat and this will build a convincing model.
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
