Ford GT40 1st Le Mans 1968 #9 Rodriguez/Bianchi 1:18 by Spark
In terms of shape, engraving and general finish Spark have done their usual very good job on this model and looking into the cockpit we see plenty of realistic detail too. Fine etched panel fasteners are neatly placed on the outside and the sponsor decals are all accurately placed but there is one glaring detail that has been missed. On the driver’s door the model has a conventional roundel and race number but there should be an additional, slightly off-white, rectangle with the number on it, something they managed to get right when making this car in 1:43 (SPKLM068).

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
