Lola Mk4 Monaco 1963 Trintignant by Spark
Alternative version SPK1814 Surtees & SPK4268 Salvadori
At first glance these are very similar models but there are a number of detail differences on the bodywork, with different cockpit cooling vents on top of the front bodywork, additional venting above the engine for the Monaco car and also on this a slightly shorter nose with larger air intake. Both models are very well finished in slightly greyish blue which looks close to the correct colour except that it appears to be a fine metallic, which our records and photos suggest is wrong. A shame as the rest is very well done.

Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
