Ferrari 166MM 1st Le Mans/Mille Miglia 1949 #22/624 by Tron
Traditionally we have tried to keep kits of all Le Mans winners on the shelf at GPM but over the past few years the numbers of kits available have dropped off slightly so this is a very welcome arrival. The main kit parts are well cast in resin and the dry fit is good. There are well printed decals for either the Le Mans or Mille Miglia winner, wheels are good quality etched wires and there is plenty of photo-etch included. The etchings did have us slightly confused as many of the parts included will not be needed and appear to be from the old Tron Star high detail kit as we see items like inner engine bay sides when this is a kerbside kit.
