Aston Martin was born in competition and racing was an important part of the company’s early history. A high point was the 1935 Le Mans race where Martin and Brackenbury not only won the Index and their class, but finished third overall in chassis LM20. The kit parts are very cleanly cast and will just need the odd small feed tag and mould line cleaning off before preparation for paint. There are plenty of fine etched parts forming the smaller details and excellent wire wheels are included. Decals in our sample kit offer the #29 car and also the two team cars.
