Simca 6 Le Mans 1950 #60 by GCAM
Hand built also available GCAM43038M
Having finished second in their class in 1949, Baboin and Gay returned to Le Mans in 1950 with a few subtle modifications to their tiny Simca but this time to no avail. The most obvious change is that the full height windscreen was replaced with a small aeroscreen for the driver and this required some body modifications. These detail changes from the earlier car are neatly done on GCAM’s kit parts and it looks like a simple build.

About GCAM
1:43 resin & metal kits & hand built models of very interesting (often obscure) Le Mans subjects. Production is very limited, with 20-30 examples of each subject not being unusual. Quality can be a little variable, particularly on kit parts, but the standard of finish on the hand builts is usually pretty good. Made in Switzerland
