Delivered new to Alejandro de Tomaso in Argentinian colors of
blue and yellow this 150S (special bonnet with 4 air-vents and leathers
straps), was 1rst raced at the 1000KM of Buenos Aires with de Tomaso and Tomasi
(4th) then raced at Sebring 12 Hours (DNF) co-driven with Isabell Haskell (his
future wife) and then raced at the Mille Miglia with de Tomaso alone (DNF). The
car was then modified at the factory with a bumpy bonnet and without side
grilles, still in blue but with a yellow central stripe. Loaned at the 1000KM
of Nurburgring to Walter Monaco and Giuseppe Musso (DNF). After that raced at
the 1000KM of Paris at Montlhéry with de Tomaso again, paired with Annie
Bousquet (DNF). In 1957 the car was fitted with a 2.0L. engine, loaned and
crashed at the 1000Km of Buenos Aires. After that the 150S was roughly repaired
and lastly raced by de Tomaso at the GP de Cuba (DNF).
