Rondeau M379C Le Mans 1981 #25 by JPS
Having won at Le Mans in 1980, Jean Rendeau returned with a five car effort in 1981, two cars in GTP which finished second and third overall and these three in the sports class, all of which retired, the #25 car in an accident that cost Lafosse his life. The well cast kit parts are all very similar except for the colours used to paint the bodies, the Otis car in dark blue, Oceanic in acid yellow and the Calberson machine rather bizarrely in orange, which is the least prominent colour on the livery. This means that on this kit large black and red panels must be applied over most of the car. Make sure you’ve got the Microsol (MSSOL) and a hair dryer handy for this one.
