Land Rover S2 Cuthbertson 1958 Grey/White by Matrix
James A Cuthbertson Ltd was one of the pioneers of the rubber tracked vehicle with history going back to WW1. In the 1950s, they offered conversions on the already very capable Land Rover, aimed at farmers working on particularly boggy ground. The car modelled is one which appeared in restored form at auction a few years ago and compares extremely well with phots from the catalogue. A very unusual subject, smartly replicated.

About Matrix
From the original creators of the Neo range, this resincast series offers a wide range of mostly road car subjects. Some are very familiar classics but we also see plenty of very rare and usual machines ranging from Maharajah's Rolls Royces to Citroen and Volvo limousines! Overall casting quality is excellent, paint finishes usually to a very high standard and plenty of fine etch used for small trim. Wire wheels on some subjects can be a little unconvincing but otherwise very consistent. Made in China.
