Citroen ID19 1st Monte Carlo 1959 #176 Coltelloni/Alexandre by Spark

Citroen's ID19 (or DS as it is often known) made an ideal rally car, despite it's size, thanks to its innovative suspension system which coped well with the roughest terrain. The first major victory came on the Monte Carlo rally in 1949, Paul Coltelloni, Pierre Alexandre & Claude Desrosiers taking the win. The car was finished in an unusual caramel and cream livery, which works very well with the shape of the car and Spark has done a good job of replication the shape and the details.

About Spark

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China
