Ford GT40 Le Mans/Spa 1965/1966 by Marsh Models

Ford GT40 Le Mans/Spa 1965/66
Hand built available MM271M12 Le Mans #12 MM271M14 Le Mans #14 & MM271M44 Spa
The three options offered in this kit cover two different chassis. P1006 raced at Le Mans in 1965 under the banner of Ford Advanced Vehicles and appeared on wire wheels. 1017 was owned by Fred English and arrived at Spa in 1965 on wires too but these were changed for Halibrands for the race and this car also appeared at Le Mans a few weeks later, this time under a Comstock Racing entry. As you would expect with these options, there are two sets of wheels and tyres included in the kit, the wires having vinyl tyres and the alloys with the more usual for Marsh resin items. Paint chips are included to colour match your chosen build and the casting quality is flawless as ever.

About Marsh Models

Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
