Volvo 142 RAC 1973 Walfridsson
The young Swede Per-Inge Walfridsson achieved some remarkable results in various Volvos, few more surprising than his fourth place overall on the RAC rally behind three rather more exotic and powerful works Escort RS1600s and ahead of the factory Alpine Renaults. Arena’s photos of the finished model in the instructions check out well with event photos and though there are a few feed tags and bits of flash to clean off on the resin body, it’s nothing too tricky. As usual there’s plenty of well thought out photo-etch for the finishing touches and it will build an interesting model.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
