Porsche 911RSR 5th Tour de France 1974 #132 Ballot-Lena/Morenas by Arena
Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Tour de France 1974 #132
Hand built also available - LINK HERE
At least five Porsche RSRs started the Tour de France carrying sponsorship from Christine Laure, we know this because we can see them all on the grid for the race at Nogaro! Claude Ballot-Lena’s car wore near identical sponsorship to Wollek’s machine (ARE658) but over a white base colour and his drive was rewarded with fifth overall at the end of the gruelling event. Arena’s RSR kit parts are now very familiar to us and once a few feed tags are cleaned up they will go together well. The separate bumpers and spoiler can be fitted before painting as it’s a single colour main finish, the contrasting bonnet panel is supplied as a decal.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
