Porsche 911 RS 2nd Targa Florio 1974 by Arena
This standard specification 2.8RSR is one of the more photographed Porsches from the 1974 Targa Florio which, we’re sure, has nothing to do with the pictures of a naked lady on the rear flanks. For some reason we have noticed that there is an error on the decal in this particular area as the image was repeated nine times on either side of the real car but only eight examples are on the decal sheet. Otherwise the livery looks very good with large white panels leaving a single colour bright green paint finish. One small note on decal placement, the instructions show the white decal disappearing behind the etched oil cooler grille on the front, but this was body coloured on the real car with the corner of the white square over the top.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
