Alfa Romeo Giulia Safari 1969 #34 Conversion Set by Arena
For Minichamps
The Safari Rally is an event that we have a reasonable level of information for and we see that Angelo Esposito drove Alfa Romeo Giulia Supers on four consecutive Safari rallies. Here we have the first and third of those entries, the former resulting in an eighteenth place finish and the latter retirement from the event. The transkit parts include dashboards, roll cages, auxiliary lights and of course decals. There is also a fair amount of photo-etch from a sumpguard to the little grab handles and steps fitted to the rear so that the co-driver could assist with traction when the going got particularly muddy.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
