Packard Parisian Coupe 1952 by Avenue 43

The car that never was. In a bod to lift the ailing Packard company in the early 1950s, this Pininfarina design was one of a handful considered but rejected as it would have cost an astronomical amount to build. Fast forward to the 1990s and the original sketches we re-discovered and the car was finally created on a period 1952 Packard chassis by Carl Schneider and Peter Portugal of Eureka, California, the car making its debut at Pebble Beach in 2002. Avenue 43 has done a great job of miniaturising this unique design and it makes for a very rare piece in any collection.
