The Ferrari 458 Speciale was the track-focused version of the 458 Italia and was first unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.Ferrari and Pininfarina redesigned most of the body panels of 458 Italia to prioritize cooling and downforce.This model introduced a patented system of mobile flaps. It uses mobile flaps at the front (to divert air to the radiators or reduce drag) and a motorized rear flap to balance downforce at high speeds. The Ferrari 458 Speciale A (where "A" stands for Aperta, Italian for "Open") is widely considered the ultimate evolution of the 458 family with aspirated V8 engines, making it one of the most collectible Ferraris of the modern era. The 458 Speciale A was a strictly limited edition and it was unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.Only 499 units were ever produced, making it significantly rarer than the coupe version.
