Bugatti T57C Aravis Cabriolet Hard-top Gangloff/Graber by Carbone
Bugatti chassis 57798 was originally clothed as a cabriolet by Gangloff in the Arivis style and delivered to a French customer. The second owner was Swiss and had Graber modify the coachwork into the coupe style seen here, the car apparently seeing some competition use in the early post-war era. The car has subsequently been restored in its original open configuration and period images of it in coupe form are rare, but the model compares very well with these photoes and the fit and finish is, as usual from Carbone, exquisite.
