The same basic bodyshell is used for all variants of Carbone's new Mercedes 300SLs and in general it looks good. The panel engraving is pin-sharp and deep giving the impression of opening parts and the paint finish is very good. The Mille Miglia car is clean and simple but it is the CPA winner which really impresses, with excellent decals and extra fine photo-etch to replicate the bars that protected the windscreen.
