Talbot Lago T26 Record Cab Saoutchik 1948
Very often Carbone’s models are based on cars as they survive today and this is a subject that has featured in the classic car press recently but in an extremely sorry state as part of the Baillon collection unearthed in France. The original paint colours can be seen on the unrestored car and the model is faithful to these showing how the car may have looked when parked up. The lines of the unique body are well replicated, the paint finishes are excellent and the smaller detailing, particularly the windscreen frame, are very neatly done.
