Yamaha YZR500 World Champion 1988 #3 Lawson 1:12 by Hasegawa
Etched parts available STUFP1213
This very well detailed kit offers two rider options, either Didier de Radigues or, the one we expect that most will build, Eddie Lawson who secured his third World Championship riding the machine. The build starts with a very good looking V4 engine and the instructions give plenty of close up detail for painting the smallest pieces. The frame then sandwiches the engine parts and there is wiring to add for spark plugs etc. The suspension parts look very convincing, particularly at the rear and there is plumbing for brakes included in the kit box. Some masking will be needed on the bodywork for the orange and white livery and if you wish to have full sponsorship you will need additional decals (STUTAB12059).
