The previous editions in this series have been very useful additions to our library but we were slightly surprised to see just how long ago they were published! The book contains roughly two hundred and fifty carefully selected images, many of which are in colour. Some of these are quite familiar, others far less so, and they superbly bring to life top level single seater racing in this period. As well as on track action there are behind the scenes photos showing plenty of detail and also atmosphere shots showing the drivers at rest. It’s all complimented by well written text, most of which takes the form of extended captions.
