Maserati 250F France 1957 #10 Fangio by Jade Miniatures
Maserati prepared two special low line cars for the 1956 Italian Grand Prix, the driver sitting much lower thanks to an offset propshaft and driving position, Moss and Behra being entrusted with them. The following year in the non-championship Reims race, Fangio drove the ex-Behra car but retired after going off. This hand built model is very well finished and matches the real car photos included with the kit parts. A fun bonus is a painted crash helmet to be posed maybe in the seat or on one of the stone guards.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
