Maserati 250F 9th Italy 1955 Fitch by Jade Miniatures
Also available JAD4366 - kit
With Stirling Moss employed by Mercedes in 1955, his Maserati 250F was raced by a number of other drivers and appeared in several liveries. Peter Walker's Dutch Grand Prix was a short one, a wheel breaking on the second lap, while John Fitch did rather better at Monza finishing ninth, albeit a few laps down. Walker drove the car in its original green but Fitch had the car repainted in American white and blue. Both models are well finished and make for interesting additons to any F1 collection.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
