ERA G-Type F2 UK 1952 Moss by Jade Miniatures
Kit - JAD4390 & many other hand builts also available
ERA’s 1952 race car is best described as functional in terms of its looks, though it wasn’t terribly so in terms of performance, this model depicting the car which retired early from the British Grand Prix due to engine failure. Jade have captured the rather boxy lines of the car well and it is finished in a fine pale green with a slightly satin finish which matches photos well. At Silverstone the car ran with stub exhausts and though these are neatly replicated, the mounting holes for the full pipes at other races have been left unfilled before painting. Otherwise, very good and not an issue on versions with the full system.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
