Connaught A-Type 1st Crystal Palace 1953 #1 Rolt by K & R Replicas
Connaught A Type Crystal Palace 1953
Tony Rolt was a regular driver of Rob Walker’s Connaught in 1953 and enjoyed some success, including beating all of the factory examples at Crystal Palace in the July. The shape of the car looks very good, the castings are nice and clean and this will be a simple build with a dark blue paint finish and the white noseband included as a decal.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
