Morris Oxford Series 5 Countryman by K & R Replicas
'Badge engineering' was rife within BMC during the 1960s, with the same basic vehicles appearing with different trim and badging as Austin, Morris, Wolseley and Riley in many cases. These two models are a demonstration of this and so we see the same main bodyshell in both kits. The bonnets are cast as separate parts as these were different, as was the brightwork. The kits are typical for K&R with plenty of finely cast white metal and minimal photo-etch. They will build perfectly well and whether you are remembering a family car from forty years ago or perhaps wishing to create a support vehicle to a BMC rally car model of some sort, they will make fine models.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
