McLaren M12 Bridgehampton 1969 #7 Surtees by Marsh Models
Chaparral had built the 2H for the 1969 season but after early testing, lead driver was unhappy with the visibility and insisted the team buy a McLaren M12 as a stop gap while their own car was corrected. Bridgehampton was his last ride in the car, engine failure stopping play having started from fourth. The model matches photos well and whether you opt to build yourself or go for the hand built option, all is to a high standard.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
