Jensen Nova Vignale Geneva 1967 Green by Matrix
Early production of the Jensen Interceptor bodies was done at the Vignale factory to a design penned by Touring, but Vignale themselves also created an adventurous one off design on a Jensen chassis during the latter part of 1966. This striking machine with its hidden headlights and low bonnet line made its public debut at the 1967 Geneva Motorshow, finished in a dark green with a black roof. Immediately after the show the car was stripped, repainted and retrimmed in cream with a red interior and the tail lights also revised, and the new version made its appearance in Turin. Both versions are beautifully modelled by Matrix, with excellent paint finished and neatly fitted fine detailing.

About Matrix
From the original creators of the Neo range, this resincast series offers a wide range of mostly road car subjects. Some are very familiar classics but we also see plenty of very rare and usual machines ranging from Maharajah's Rolls Royces to Citroen and Volvo limousines! Overall casting quality is excellent, paint finishes usually to a very high standard and plenty of fine etch used for small trim. Wire wheels on some subjects can be a little unconvincing but otherwise very consistent. Made in China.
