There are five options offered in this kit and what is most unusual about four of them is that we are told that the Gordinis on the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio were red rather than blue. When we learn that the cars were private entries and owned by Italian Franco Bordini, this perhaps makes a little more sense. At first glance the kit parts look pretty simple but closer inspection of the instructions and the etched parts show that Renaissance has decided to make the grille as multiple etched pieces, which will be a little fiddly to assemble but well worth the effort for the realistic end product.

About Renaissance

Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Beautiful hand built models too. Made in France
