Porsche 935 Le Mans 1978 #91 Hudson Wire by Renaissance
Renaissance list this car as ‘Hawaiian Tropic’ sponsored but it is BP and Hudson Wire who are the more prominent on the Dick Barbour motorsport entry. We’re a little surprised therefore, when looking at race photos, to see HT lettering on the underside of the rear spoiler and not the Goodyear included in the kit, something that the seasoned builder will hopefully be able to rectify from the spares box. The kit parts are well cast as usual and as is often the case in Renaissance kits, the options is given for the more advanced modeller to pose the doors open should you so wish.

Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
