Mercedes MGP W05 1st Monaco 2014 Rosberg
Monaco is effectively Nico Rosberg’s home race and 2014 saw him win it for the second time, this victory being the second of five during the season. Spark’s model is well proportioned and has a smart silver paint finish with neatly applied decals. As with the 1:18 Williams that we saw recently, the rear endplates are moulded, which is no surprise, but it is rather disappointing that the vents in the upper surface aren’t open. Otherwise the detailing is well done with very fine parts on the front wing, carbon textured suspension and separate seat belts with etched fittings on the driver figure.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'.
