Derek Daly gave Tyrrell their best results of the 1980 season with two fourth place finishes, the first in the old 009 in Argentina and the second at Brands Hatch in the ground effect 010. The cockpit surround is a little low at the front on Spark’s model but the shape looks good otherwise and the livery matches race photos very well. The finish on the model is excellent with a perfect match of the red decal on the engine cover with the paint on the main deck area and equally good paint on the blue sections.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
