HPD ARX 03b Le Mans 2012 #33 Level 5 by Spark
Having switched from a Lola mid-season in 2011, Scott Tucker had moved up to an HPD and at Le Mans was joined by regular professional team mate Christoph Bouchut and Le Mans debutant, but experienced Grand-AM and ALMS racer Luis Diaz. The car had problems in qualifying and started mid-field, the professional drivers doing an excellent job through the night to pick their way up the order only for the boss to run out of fuel on Sunday morning! The model has a flawless black paint finish and the placement of the decals and the small details all look accurate from race photos.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
