The nimbleness of the BMW M3 came in handy around the narrow streets of Macau, especially as the weather conditions were less than friendly with the tail end of a typhoon passing through. Like the two similar cars that finished ahead of him, Fabien Giroix’s Schnitzer machine was sponsored by Hilton hotels, though with a much simpler white and red colour scheme. The decoration is all neatly applied and looks accurate when compared with the excellent footage of the race that we’ve found on YouTube.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
