Looking very similar to the previous year’s M3s which had dominated the race, Schnitzer BMWs once again took the first two places around the tight streets of Macau. The decoration of Heger’s winning car looks very good here, the bright blue pit identifications on the right hand window pillars also being applied far more subtly to the front grille and the tape on the lights. Even the seat belts were colour coded and it all adds up to make a colourful and attractive model.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable.
