Porsche 908 2nd Paris 1968 #14 by Spark
Porsche 908 2nd Paris 1000kms 1968 #14
Elford and Lins led for much of the race in the 1968 Paris 1000kms, but a spin late on cost the Englishman around 30 seconds and handed the advantage to the sister car of Stommelen and Herrmann (SPKSF050). As with the winning machine, Spark has modelled the subject very well and we see very vivid orange on the nose and rear wing for pit identification. The windows are an excellent fit, the paint finishes are flawless and it all adds up to make an excellent miniature. Be quick, because they’ve only made 300 pieces.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
