Ferrari F2007 Mugello 2009 Schumacher by Tameo Kits
Following Filipe Massa's unfortunate accident in Hungary there was a very strong chance that Michael Schumacher would return to the cockpit in competition. He too had an accident earlier in the year, crashing a motorcycle, so in order to evaluate his fitness and to get around the ban on in season testing with the current cars, a 2007 car was fitted with GP2 slick tyres and the multiple World Champion took the wheel at Mugello. Tameo have of course made several versions of the F2007 in the past so they had a good starting point for this subject. The car appeared almost exactly like it was in the late races of 2007 though there were no camera pods on it and obviously the tyres are different. An interesting little snippet of Ferrari F1 history.
