Ferrari 312T Brands Hatch/10th Silverstone 1976 #36 Martini 1:24 by Tameo Kits
At the beginning of 1976, Scuderia Everest, which had a Ferrari 312 T from the previous year, entered Italian driver Giancarlo Martini in two Formula 1 races that did not count towards that year's world championship. In the first race, held at Brands Hatch, Martini qualified fifteenth but did not take part in the race due to an accident during the formation lap. On the second occasion, the BRDC International Trophy at the Silverstone circuit, Martini managed to start and finished the race in tenth place. Martini thus became the first Italian driver to drive a Ferrari F1 car, albeit not in world championship races, since Arturo Merzario's appearance in the 1973 United States Grand Prix. This was also the last appearance in an F1 race, albeit not valid for the world championship, of a Ferrari car managed by a private team.
