Elva Mk7 Porsche Euro Hills 1964 by AxelR
- built
Kit available VHCK051
Elva typically sold their competition cars as rolling chassis but with the Mk7 a deal had been done with Porsche to supply the English car maker with engines and nineteen of the twenty seven chassis built has these power units. The combination was very successful on both sides of the Atlantic and here we see the car run by Porsche for Herbert Muller in the European Hillclimb Championship, a series he finished second overall. The kit parts are fairly simple with the well-proportioned and very crisply moulded body pre-painted in a fine silver. Some feed tags will need trimming from the smaller parts, but nothing tricky and the finished model shows that with careful assembly you will have an attractive and pretty accurate miniature.
