This arrival means that a small re-organisation of our library is needed for it to join all of the previous volumes on the shelf. This has long been one of, if not the most important publications of the year for us and offers a superb in-depth review of the Le Mans 24 Hour race from the first test days to the final flag. The test days see a number of entries that don’t make the cut and this is one of the few places that you’ll find these featured. New technology was at the forefront this year and though much has been written about the radical DeltaWing Nissan, it did have a challenger for a race start in the form of the hydrogen fuel cell powered Green GT. This is featured in the pre-race coverage and may well make a race appearance next year. On to the race itself and we have the usual profiles of the teams and cars that did start along with hour by hour race reporting, comprehensive statistics and, of course, a wealth of superb photographs.
