Porsche 911SC Gr4 1st Antibes 1979 Geant by Arena
These two have similar body details apart from the width of the wheelarches, so we'll take them together. Bernard Beguin's Antibes winning car is the slightly more aggressive and the model will need a two tone paint finish with the lower sections masked off and painted white. We have found event pictures of this one and though the decoration looks accurate for the most part on the well printed (Racing 43) decals, there is a 'Tarte Tropezienne' sponsor logo missing from the white side panel. We don't have event pictures for the very pretty Monte Carlo car and it appears to have retired from the race, but it makes for a good looking model.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
