Alfa Romeo Alfasud TI Tour De Corse 1981 #71 Leude/Miklou by Arena
This Alfasud was driven by Leude and Miklou on the Tour de Corse and like a great many of the entrants in 1981, it failed to reach the finish. The decoration on the car was simple, the main body finished in bright yellow with black wheelarch extensions and satin black anti-glare paint on the bonnet. Sponsorship was the yellow and green of French oil company Yacco. The wheel arch extensions and front and rear spoilers will need careful painting after the main yellow body colour is applied but the bonnet is helpfully supplied as a decal. The main resin castings are clean and will need very little clean up prior to painting. Ancillaries are a mix of resin and white metal and, as usual for Arena, there are plenty of etched details.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
