Porsche 911 1st Sweden 1969 Waldegaard by Arena
These kits share very similar parts and depict the works cars which enjoyed particular success on the Swedish snow in the hands of Bjorn Waldegaard. The bodies are the same on all and the base colour scheme of a simple bright red is also consistent, with just small detail decals and the addition of large bonnet mounted horns on the 1970 cars making a visual change. The kits should build well and there is plenty of etched detail to keep the keen modeller busy. Most kits are single option but in the 1968 kit there is the possibility to build the sister machine of Vic Elford should you so wish.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
