Ferrari 308 Gr4 TDF 1983 #34 Gauthier by Arena
While this Ferrari doesn’t feature in the results for the Tour de France in 1983, we know why as one of the photos that we’ve found shows it parked, broken, at the side of a hillclimb section early on day two of the event. The instructions in this kit are very good and highlight plenty of small parts which must be fitted or adjusted prior to painting. There’s loads of photo-etch for the smallest details and the main resin castings are up to the usual high standard. Something a little different that crosses many themes, be it rally, sports racing or Ferrari.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
