Porsche 911S Monte Carlo 1973 #184 Schoen/Baj Macario by Arena
Porsche 911S Monte 1973 Schoen
Hand built available ARE716M
We usually associate the Jolly Club team with Lancias but they were behind this Italian-crewed Porsche entry in 1973. We’ve seen Arena’s 911 in many forms over the years and know that these kits build very well. Decoration on this version will be very simple, with a midnight blue main paint finish (a Fiat colour is quoted) and an uncomplicated decal job with just a few sponsor logos and numbers. There’s plenty of fine etch as usual for the finishing touches and this time that extends to a roof rack to carry the spare wheels.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
