BMW M3 Art Car 1989 Ken Done by Automodelli Studio
Many years ago Grand Prix Models made a number of the BMW Art Cars as very limited hand builts, which are now long gone. In order to create the extremely colourful car decorated by Australian artist Ken Done using typical Aboriginal deigns, we had to have decals printed and it is the surplus of these decals that Automodelli Studio have used along with a Jemmpy base kit to create this kit. It's a fairly complex decalling job as most of the car is to be covered and first you must apply a two tone paint finish, which is clearly shown in the instructions. The decals were originally designed to go on a Meri kit, so there may be one or two tiny bits of touching in needed, but take your time and this will make a very colourful model.

About Automodelli Studio
An interesting range of mostly Australian oriented subjects. Some subjects are based on other makers' castings where suitable (Marsh Models, Jemmpy & SMTS the most commonly used) while others are made entirely in house. Decals often laser or inkjet printed, but still with good bright colours and clarity. Most kits included
a modest amount of etched detailing. Made in Australia
