Lotus Cortina ATCC #3 Neptune Racing by Automodelli Studio
Lotus Cortina ATCC 1965 #3 Neptune Racing
The Neptune Racing Team was established in 1964 and featured cars running in three classes, Norm Beechey in a Holden, then Mustang (AUTAMS018), Peter Manton in a Mini Cooper S (AUTAMS016) and Jim McKeown in this Lotus Cortina. In 1965 McKeown nearly won the championship but crashed while leading. As with the other two team cars, Automodelli’s kit is based on SMTS’ cleanly cast white metal components with new decals and a supplementary instruction sheet which includes colour information and colour images of the real car. Only 50 kits of each car are being produced and they will make a great set on the shelf.

About Automodelli Studio
An interesting range of mostly Australian oriented subjects. Some subjects are based on other makers' castings where suitable (Marsh Models, Jemmpy & SMTS the most commonly used) while others are made entirely in house. Decals often laser or inkjet printed, but still with good bright colours and clarity. Most kits included
a modest amount of etched detailing. Made in Australia
